This has been one of my side projects that I've been busy with lately. If you know anything about me, you know that I totally geek out over icons. This shirt was a blast to design. The shirts were hand printed at The Pull.

These invitations are great for a variety of parties such as bridal shower, baby shower, summer bbq, etc. You fill in the details of the occasion. Check them out in the shop.

They are printed with water based inks on 97% post consumer waste chipboard (one of my favorite materials) at The Pull, an independent screenprinting shop.

New Chipboard Cards with Colorful Envelopes in the Shop
There are some new card packs in my online shop. The text is inspired from the way we sms and tweet, simple and to the point. The white ink always stands out nicely on the chipboard, and the envelopes add a nice burst of color. This 6 pack is great because it can be used throughout the year for various occasions.

Side ntoe: Did you see the rounded corners. I invested in a shop duty corner rounder. I'm definitely on a corner rounding kick right now.

What a fantastic surprise to see my work on the front page of etsy with an awesome treasury. All of the geometry and the color palette totally fits into my aesthetic.

Beautiful Ugly

This photo is a huge inspiration to me. The imperfections in our homes make living more interesting. Its a reminder to not hide or be ashamed when everything is not perfect.

Bathtub Sofa by Ruff House Art

What a brilliant idea! I like everything about this piece of furniture. The little fact that that the faucet holes make a cute little face, the print on the cushion, and upcycled tub! See more of this Etsian's work here

Eating local and organic

Just got my first CSA bin of the growing season from Minto Island Growers. I got a ton of organically grown produce including artichokes, rubarb, green garlic and a lot of lettus(see above). Yum. This is the first of many salads I'll be eating this week.
