Prototype of 2013 Tea Towel Embroidery Calendar

The tea towel is coming soon! I'm in the final design stages for my 2013 Tea Towel Calendar Kit. It's so fun to see what it looks like stitched up. My weekend consisted of watching way to many episodes on Netflix while stitching this tea towel up. Pretty relaxing overall. 

Sneak Peak: Prototypes For New Embroidery Notebook Kits

I have some new ideas for pocket notebooks that I'm trying out. My process usually works out where I try out several ideas and then pick the best. For this prototype, I print out the design on paper, tape in place, and then poke holes with a needle (it's kind of hard on my fingers, but its worth it). After the holes are made, I stitch it up, which is by far my favorite part. I love the satisfaction of seeing a design come to life.
