I'm very attracted to the simple stylized style of animator and illustrator Paul Rogers. The look/feel/attitude really fits the show nicely. There is something to say for simplicity. I would love to see more broadcast television decluttering opening sequences.

Fun Vintage Stuff

My birthday is on Saturday so I treated myself to some awesome vintage stuff from Rerun, a local resale shop. Firstly, I found this incredible trunk with lots of character. The inside is lined with this vintagey green floral print and it will be perfect for selling at street fairs. I'm starting to have a pretty good collection of old suitcases.

I also found some really cute vintage fabrics. I can't wait to use these. I have some patchwork ideas in mind.

Upcycled belts make cool stuff

I found out about this from Modern Craft Blog. Basically, a london based design company takes old belts and makes them into 12 x 12 floor tiles. The rich textures the belts great make a beautiful classic effect. Gorgeous!

My new cruiser!

I finally bought a bike for myself! It's been almost a year since i've had a bike. Check out the basket on the front pops off so you can take it in the store, fill it up, and then pop it right back on. Brilliant! I love the way it looks, its just really hard to get up 3 flights of stairs. Oh well. I'm still in the honeymoon stage!
